An affidavit is a legal document that we may request from you. This will be required if you have information that does not match across your submitted documentation (such as your name or date of birth).
It is a written statement that is sworn to be true and must be notarized by a notary public to be admissible. The notary public ensures the validity of the signature.
To obtain an affidavit, we recommend doing one of the below:
- Contacting a local law firm
- Contacting a local court
- You can also find other options by searching via Google ‘affidavit LOCATION’ where LOCATION = your country/city
