SARA Student Complaint Process
Learners enrolled in courses under SARA policies must first follow Nexford University's internal complaint resolution policies and procedures: Learner Rights and Responsibilities | Nexford University Catalog.
If a complaint cannot be resolved through Nexford University's internal process, the learner may file a complaint through SARA's complaint resolution process with Nexford University's SARA Portal Entity, the District of Columbia Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC).
The SARA student complaint process is limited to consumer protection issues arising from distance education activities conducted under SARA policies. Complaints related to grades, academic judgments, student conduct, or other matters governed by the University's academic policies are not subject to review through the SARA student complaint process.
